Meet Our Animals

At HHH Ranch, our passion is giving horses and livestock a fresh start. As a dedicated 501c3 non-profit, we step into the shadows of abuse, neglect, and auction for slaughter to provide these incredible animals with a safe, loving haven filled with hope.

We believe every animal deserves to live with dignity and respect. Our mission is to nurture their physical and emotional healing, restoring their trust and helping them find caring homes where they can thrive.

We personally rehab and retrain each horse that walks through our doors - and sometimes, we’re called late at night when the sheriff’s department rescues an emaciated horse in dire need. Our team works closely with the sheriff’s department, the Department of Agriculture, and Animal Control to respond swiftly to these urgent situations.

From the moment an animal arrives, we are committed to their recovery - physically, emotionally, and behaviorally. It’s a labor of love, and seeing these horses blossom again keeps us inspired every day.

But we can’t do it alone - your support and kindness make all the difference. Join us on this journey to transform lives, one animal at a time. Together, we can create a community of compassion that offers hope to those who need it most.

Have a quirky critter in need of a fresh start? Whether it’s a rabbit with babies, a pig that’s outgrown its space, or a chicken that turned out to be a rooster, we encourage you to reach out to Kankakee Farm Swap on Facebook. We keep our space open for animals in peril, giving them a safe place to heal and begin anew.

Help us give these animals a second chance - because every life matters.
