In a Takhin session, you aren't just training a horse — you're connecting with it. You're doing groundwork that asks the horse to soften, move fluidly, and respond.
Your horse doesn't care about your past or how labels define you. It only responds to what's being offered — calm energy, clear cues, follow-through. That feedback is immediate and impossible to fake, which is exactly why it works as a therapeutic tool.

Our community has experienced far too much loss.
With three young lives lost in such a short amount of time, we’ve been thinking deeply about what HHH Ranch can do—not just in the days immediately following a tragedy, but in all the days that come after.
Because grief doesn’t have a timeline.
Sometimes you need to talk. Sometimes you need to cry. Sometimes you just need somewhere peaceful to sit where no one expects anything from you. So, for the remainder of the year, Open Ranch will be completely free every Saturday from 3–5 PM.
No admission. No expectations. No explanation needed. Just come.
Bring a picnic and sit beneath the shaded trees. Let the little ones play on the playground. Bring your teenager who may not know how to put what they’re feeling into words. Walk around and visit the animals. Pull up a chair beside the horses and simply sit.
Cry if you need to. Talk if you want to. Be quiet if that’s what you need.
This space is for our children, our teenagers, our adults—our entire community. At HHH Ranch, we don’t want to only tell you the stories of the animals we’ve rescued. We want you to know we’re here to listen to your story, too. There will always be a chair for you here. There will always be an animal happy to see you. And sometimes, when words are hard to find, being beside a horse is enough.

No Refund Policy
All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. Events and programs are held outdoors, and attendees are responsible for attending as scheduled.
Refunds will not be provided for failure to attend an event and/or program. In rare and extraordinary situations, refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and approved at the sole discretion of the organizer.
In the event of inclement weather or other conditions that make it unsafe or impractical to hold an event and/or program, the event and/or program may be rescheduled. If an event and/or program is rescheduled, all purchased tickets or registrations will automatically be honored for the new date. No refunds will be issued due to the rescheduling of an event and/or program.
